SINGAPORE! Here we come!!!!! (Part 2)

SECOND DAY...
We awoke in our gorgeous villa!

My favorite part of the day BREAKFAST BUFFET!

For lunch, my mom and I went shopping and my sis went with her family to meet up with her best friend Mags. Mags took them somewhere really good but I don't know where. My sis took pics cos she said the food and the restaurant was sooo good. I usually don't post pics of places I didn't go to but this just speaks for itself!

Glad Jasmine enjoyed!

The next part starts out a bit gross...but at night we went to the night safari. When we entered the place there was a shop that was selling time for fish to eat your callous. GROSS

THE NIGHT SAFARI

The Night Safari was totally worth it and really cool. We were really hungry and tired so we just ate ate the Night Safari food area

Mami and me enjoying the Laksa!

Papi ate his noodles...

Group PIC!

Papi and me wearing our father-daughter hats. LOL!

After we put the kiddies to bed...the adults went out to the new CASINO!
The Casino had just opened in Singapore, only one of them. Sands was not opened yet but we decided to go try our luck.

The casino experience was not too fun they still need a lot to improve. And it didn't help that I lost my money and in Singaporean Dollars too! =(

SINGAPORE!!! Here We Come!!! (Part 1)

We flew into SINGAPORE from Taipei!

It was my first time in Singapore and I thought it was gorgeous!
We stayed at the Sentosa Resort

Our first day we just took the time to settle and so we opted for just a simple lunch at the food court of the mall!

That food is just for display!
We spent the entire day playing the amusement activities around the area and ate in the park too. We ended our day at the park with a sea show (which was made for really young kids)

My mom and Jasmine at the show
Afterwards we went to Katan to go eat the local Singaporean food which was really good but we forgot our cameras WHOOPS!

Back to Ben's in Taipei!

When you really enjoy something, the first thing you want to do is to share it with the ones you love. So for the CNY holidays when we went back to Taipei with our family, we decided to take them to Ben's Teppanyaki because we had such an amazing time there last time!!

Happy V.Day 2010

This year Valentine's Day fell on another VERY IMPORTANT day: Chinese New Year!
So for all the singles out there you can spend Valentine's Day with the ones you love, your wonderful family!

For the CNY holidays, we decided our family trip to somewhere close. Our first stop was Taipei (again) and then we were going to go to Singapore!

I spent Vday with my mom and dad and niece and nephew. We just wanted to chill in our hotel room cos we were really tired. So we ordered some room service to be sent up to our room at The Sherwood Taipei

We all had a lot to eat already for the past few days so we all chose to order something light!

~Smoked Salmon with Asparagus Salad~

~Fresh Fruits~

~Panna Cotta~ for dessert...
(REALLY GOOD AND CREAMY!)

I "HEART" Taipei (Part 2)

For the second night, we went to a very special teppanyaki restaurant.

It was called Ben's and it was a fusion Japanese and Italian Restaurant.

We had our private room with karaoke area, and bar.

The coolest part was the teppanyaki table because usually it's rectangle shaped but this was circular so everyone could be seated comfortably and we could all see each other!

Me at the circular Teppanyaki table

My sis at the table

One of the first dishes was coming along as a mystery with a lot of steps and process for the sauce and ingredients!

We had a large group so two chefs cooked for us!

This was a mushroom dish that was first sauteed while the green sauce was bubbling beside and then all put together. The green sauce was like a very thick creamy soup with a taste of broccoli or peas and cream.

Then each person ordered their soup. There was the following:

Clear Soup (very clear!)

Pumpkin Soup (VERY GOOD)

Sauce for your food on the left is a type of yellow mustard in light soya sauce and on the right is chopped raw onions in a light soya sauce.

Grilled fish with peppers and mushroom topping served with a foamy white sauce

Asparagus, with fish caviar and abalone

Grilled small lobster with melted cheese!

THE BEST TASTING SALAD EVER!
(It was really refreshing and the sauce was light, creamy and perfect! I wasn't going to eat it at first cos I thought it was weird that it came in the middle of the meal and that it was going to take up stomach space, but I FINISHED IT!)

Dessert

Small but REALLY goooood melting molten chocolate cake and it went perfectly well with the ice cold vanilla ice cream

The smallest cappuccino EVER!
