SINGAPORE! Here we come!!!!! (Part 3)

WARNING: The following are pictures of food that are really too good to be true!

The third day was the best day of GOOD FOOD that I have tasted!!
We went to eat popular Singaporean cuisine.

The first stop was at this shabby shop that served Hainan Chicken Rice. It was low fat and healthier than most chickens served in other restaurants.

~Hainan Chicken Dipping Sauce~

~REALLY Tender Hainan Chicken~

~Hainan Chicken Rice~

I know I have two pics of what looks like plain rice, BUT IT WAS THE BEST RICE EVERRR!!!

~Stir-fried Vegetables Singaporean Style~

~Deep-Fried Vegetarian Dish~

~Cold Crab (served chilled)~
(dip it in the chilly sauce or just eat it plain!)

The "wong" is the BEST part of the crab!

I thoroughly enjoyed lunch and so did everyone else!

After lunch, my dad and I went for a walk around the city.

~This is the popular and newest mall ION MALL~

~Pretty Cake Shop!~

~McDonald's~
(What was interesting about this was it was just a really small glass shop with no kitchen just counter...or so it seems?)

After Sight-seeing we went back to the hotel to get ready to go out to dinner. Again, we were going to a casual restaurant. We didn't know what to expect because our friends who were taking us there didn't say anything.

But we arrived to the Crab Delicacy Seafood Restaurant

It was famous for its crab dishes
And also their Crocodile Paw Dish, (which we DID NOT try)

But the following meal is one of my favorite meals of ALL TIME!

~Shrimp Soup~

~Deep Fried Pizza~ (SOOOOOOO GOOD)

Famous Dish
~Crab in White Soup with Noodles~

~Crab from the soup very tasty!~

~Hot Fresh Mini Buns~

YOU DIP THE ABOVE WITH THE BELOW:

~Chili Crab~

~Black Pepper Crab~

We had to wear plastic bibs to avoid getting dirty from all the tasty crab!

THEN, Came DESSERT!
***
~Dessert: Taro Paste in Sweet Sauce (served hot)~

~ Dessert: Sweet Potato fried and drizzled in Syrup (served hot) then Dip in Iced Water so the Syrup freezes leaving the outside hard and crispy and the inside flaming hot!~

THIS WAS SOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!

SINGAPORE! Here we come!!!!! (Part 2)

SECOND DAY...
We awoke in our gorgeous villa!

My favorite part of the day BREAKFAST BUFFET!

For lunch, my mom and I went shopping and my sis went with her family to meet up with her best friend Mags. Mags took them somewhere really good but I don't know where. My sis took pics cos she said the food and the restaurant was sooo good. I usually don't post pics of places I didn't go to but this just speaks for itself!

Glad Jasmine enjoyed!

The next part starts out a bit gross...but at night we went to the night safari. When we entered the place there was a shop that was selling time for fish to eat your callous. GROSS

THE NIGHT SAFARI

The Night Safari was totally worth it and really cool. We were really hungry and tired so we just ate ate the Night Safari food area

Mami and me enjoying the Laksa!

Papi ate his noodles...

Group PIC!

Papi and me wearing our father-daughter hats. LOL!

After we put the kiddies to bed...the adults went out to the new CASINO!
The Casino had just opened in Singapore, only one of them. Sands was not opened yet but we decided to go try our luck.

The casino experience was not too fun they still need a lot to improve. And it didn't help that I lost my money and in Singaporean Dollars too! =(

SINGAPORE!!! Here We Come!!! (Part 1)

We flew into SINGAPORE from Taipei!

It was my first time in Singapore and I thought it was gorgeous!
We stayed at the Sentosa Resort

Our first day we just took the time to settle and so we opted for just a simple lunch at the food court of the mall!

That food is just for display!
We spent the entire day playing the amusement activities around the area and ate in the park too. We ended our day at the park with a sea show (which was made for really young kids)

My mom and Jasmine at the show
Afterwards we went to Katan to go eat the local Singaporean food which was really good but we forgot our cameras WHOOPS!

Back to Ben's in Taipei!

When you really enjoy something, the first thing you want to do is to share it with the ones you love. So for the CNY holidays when we went back to Taipei with our family, we decided to take them to Ben's Teppanyaki because we had such an amazing time there last time!!

Happy V.Day 2010

This year Valentine's Day fell on another VERY IMPORTANT day: Chinese New Year!
So for all the singles out there you can spend Valentine's Day with the ones you love, your wonderful family!

For the CNY holidays, we decided our family trip to somewhere close. Our first stop was Taipei (again) and then we were going to go to Singapore!

I spent Vday with my mom and dad and niece and nephew. We just wanted to chill in our hotel room cos we were really tired. So we ordered some room service to be sent up to our room at The Sherwood Taipei

We all had a lot to eat already for the past few days so we all chose to order something light!

~Smoked Salmon with Asparagus Salad~

~Fresh Fruits~

~Panna Cotta~ for dessert...
(REALLY GOOD AND CREAMY!)
